About the role
Jhpiego is seeking a Malaria Program Manager to support the RISE project in Angola. The role will work closely with the Chief of Party, Technical Director and national partners to deliver community‑based malaria services, strengthen health systems and plan for sustainable transition.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Chief of Party and Technical Director in implementing lifesaving community malaria services across project‑supported areas.
- Facilitate joint planning and data review meetings with the National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) and other partners to align targets, address gaps and monitor progress.
- Oversee program implementation at community level, ensuring compliance with national guidelines, donor requirements and strategic plans.
- Collaborate with Strategic Information and other technical teams to support data management, supply chain and human resources for health.
- Contribute to sustainability and transition planning toward country ownership.
Required profile
- Experience working in malaria or broader public health programs, preferably in low‑resource settings.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with government agencies, NGOs and donors.
- Strong understanding of community‑based service delivery and health system strengthening.
