About the role
The Methodology Packaging and Knowledge Management Advisor will support the sustainability and scale‑up of the CS4N model by translating complex methodologies into practical guides and producing knowledge products that capture evidence, lessons learned, and best practices. This role is central to strengthening nutrition governance through participatory planning and multi‑stakeholder collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Translate and package the CS4N methodology into a user‑friendly implementation guide for provincial and municipal authorities.
- Produce high‑quality knowledge products documenting evidence, results, lessons learned, and good practices.
- Review and analyse the CS4N methodology and develop the Participatory Planning for Nutrition (PP4N) Replication Guide.
- Document project evidence and lessons learned to support future replication and advocacy.
- Create policy briefs, case studies, and strategic knowledge products for donors, governments, and development partners.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Development Studies, Public Policy, Governance, Nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, Knowledge Management, Communications or related field.
- Demonstrated experience developing methodologies, implementation manuals, toolkits, or practical guidance documents for governments, development agencies, or civil‑society organisations.
- Proven experience documenting and synthesising lessons learned, good practices, and evidence from complex development programmes.
- Experience producing policy briefs, advocacy documents, case studies, and strategic knowledge products.
- Previous work on governance, nutrition, public health, social inclusion or community development programmes.
- Required experience working in Sub‑Saharan Africa; experience in Angola or Lusophone countries is a strong asset.
- Experience with EU‑funded programmes is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, writing, editing and communication skills.
