Child Psychologist

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Child Psychologist to join Cedars International School of Angola. The professional will work within the school community to support the emotional and behavioural wellbeing of our students. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s mental health within a multicultural school setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children.
• Design and deliver individualized intervention plans.
• Provide behavioural support and guidance to students, teachers, and families.
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate mental health strategies into the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress.

Required profile

• Degree in Psychology.
• Minimum two years of experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting.
• Excellent English reading, writing and speaking abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
