Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist – Oilfield Services

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist you will drive quality performance for assigned suppliers in the oilfield services and equipment business. You will implement quality plans, qualify new suppliers, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet Baker Hughes’ high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor supplier quality plans and qualification processes.
• Maintain supplier scorecards, analyze results, and drive corrective actions.
• Plan, conduct, and follow‑up on supplier audits to ensure compliance.
• Manage Supplier Quality Assurance and Development activities, including action plans and performance monitoring.
• Advise functional managers on quality‑related projects, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinate communication with internal teams regarding design and coordination services.
• Contribute to project teams or lead small‑scale projects, typically 3‑6 months in duration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or Technical Diploma with ≥4 years quality experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
• Strong ability to manage day‑to‑day operations and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
