Management System Advisor – Integrated Risk & Assurance

About the role

The Integrated Risk and Assurance function at Azule Energy is seeking a senior advisor to lead the design, governance and continuous improvement of the Azule Management System (AMS). This role ensures the AMS aligns with regulatory, corporate and international standards, supporting safe and compliant oil and gas operations across Angola.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AMS design, structure and governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Lead the implementation and embedment of the AMS across all functions, guaranteeing consistent interpretation and application.
• Define and manage the company‑wide continuous improvement methodology (Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act) and enable improvement programmes delivered by functional teams.
• Own AMS performance metrics, reporting and lead management reviews to evaluate system effectiveness.
• Develop AMS training strategy and materials to build organisational capability.
• Provide expert guidance to senior leadership, department directors and internal audit teams on AMS matters.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in HSE, assurance, compliance or audit roles within oil & gas or other high‑hazard industries.
• Proven track record delivering high‑impact projects and influencing senior executives.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and operational processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional integrity, sound judgment and the ability to work independently on multiple priorities.
