Project Control Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

The company Ponticelli Angola, a subsidiary of the Ponticelli Frères Group, is seeking a Project Control Manager to support its oil & gas projects in Lunda, Angola. The role is based on a technical support contract and focuses on establishing and maintaining project control systems, risk management, and cost‑schedule integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and issue Project Control procedures, WBS, risk and opportunity management plans, master schedule, control budget and cash‑flow models.
• Supervise the alignment of cost control and scheduling systems and ensure coherence across the project.
• Define Project Control requirements for subcontractors and vendors and integrate them into bid proposals.
• Set up the Document Control System and coordinate implementation of all required information and application systems.
• Maintain the Project Control System, perform risk analysis, and regularly report project status against baselines.

Required profile

• Engineer with a focus on industry/mechanics and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical knowledge of piping, structural, and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) projects.
• Solid understanding of the oil & gas sector.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lunda, Angola.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera or MS Project software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Pack Office).
