Subsea Workshop & Maintenance Technician (QA/QC) – Angola

About the role

Join Expro's Subsea team in Angola as a Workshop and Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing subsea equipment in a safe environment while supporting QA/QC documentation and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnosis and repair of workshop equipment according to work plans and company quality standards.
• Assist with rigging up, building and rigging down of subsea equipment as required.
• Operate a forklift for loading, unloading and moving equipment when qualified.
• Conduct equipment inspections, prepare and update compliance documentation, and ensure correct revision control.
• Report incidents and non‑conformances promptly and update job packs for supervisors.
• Liaise with logistics, stores and other internal departments to secure required components and ensure timely task completion.
• Participate in daily safety and status meetings and provide administrative support for QA/QC processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised workplace, including tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Technical qualification recognised in the relevant field.
• Experience in workshop maintenance and equipment repair, preferably in a subsea environment.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and compliance procedures.
• Ability to work under supervision and communicate effectively with team members and operations personnel.
• Valid forklift licence is an advantage.
