Subsea Operations Coordinator (Angola)

About the role

Expro is seeking an experienced Subsea Operations Coordinator to support the efficient execution of subsea projects in Angola. You will be responsible for coordinating manpower, equipment, materials, and logistics to meet client requirements and project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to determine personnel and equipment needs and arrange mobilisation according to deadlines.
• Advise clients on operational or equipment limitations and propose practical alternatives.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, certified, and fit for purpose.
• Plan and monitor manpower availability, including recruitment of staff or contract personnel as needed.
• Track equipment, manpower, and related costs to stay within approved budgets and flag issues promptly.
• Gather cost and usage data for accurate and timely invoicing.
• Coordinate third‑party services and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and data accuracy.
• Supervise direct reports where applicable and participate in an on‑call rota for 24‑hour operational coverage.
• Communicate with internal teams, management, and clients to ensure safe, on‑time task completion.

Required profile

• Formal technical qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience, preferably within subsea or related product lines.
