SHE Manager – HSE Leadership in Angola

About the role

We are seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to lead HSE excellence for our production chemical business units in Angola, Gabon and new frontiers. Based in Luanda, you will work closely with regional leadership to embed a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SLB’s Safety Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional management to plan, develop and implement HSE strategies aligned with business goals.
• Design, develop and review regional HSE policies, standards, procedures, forms and best‑practice guidelines.
• Provide HSE support for customer pre‑qualifications, bids, tenders and questionnaires.
• Inspect facilities to identify hazards, recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Support Emergency Response and Crisis Management Plans for facilities.
• Facilitate and monitor employee HSE training, ensuring compliance with training plans.
• Coordinate incident and near‑miss reporting, investigation and corrective‑action tracking.
• Liaise with regulators, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
• Prepare and communicate HSE metrics, trends and performance reports to management and customers.
