Senior Commercial Sales & Project Manager (Finance)

About the role

The Senior Commercial Sales & Project Manager (Finance) will act as the commercial and financial partner for the Sales and Project Management teams within the Service Organization. Working in Angola’s gas services sector, you will oversee the full financial lifecycle of service orders, from proposal and contract negotiation to execution and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse and negotiate financial and commercial terms of customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
• Ensure accurate cost calculations and pricing structures during contract negotiations in collaboration with Sales Leads and Project Managers.
• Provide commercial support throughout project execution in line with PM@SE guidelines and contractual obligations.
• Manage revenue recognition, forecasting, cash‑flow and margin optimisation for assigned projects.
• Identify, evaluate and communicate project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP, tax regulations, foreign‑exchange requirements and legal obligations.
• Prepare and present regular financial reviews and status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Perform monthly financial forecasting and guarantee accurate reporting.
• Support contractual requirements such as performance guarantees, insurance and hedging activities.
• Execute general‑ledger activities, journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist internal and external audits and maintain compliance with corporate standards.
• Participate in special assignments and maintain close interaction with customers and internal teams.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance commercial and financial project performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, commercial project management or project execution.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Percentage‑of‑Completion accounting principles.
• Proven experience with project financial management, forecasting, revenue recognition and contract administration.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Leadership experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience working in international, multicultural environments.
• Fluent in Portuguese.
