Senior Accountant – Odoo & Tax

About the role

The company, a well‑established business group in construction materials distribution and technology, is expanding its Finance Department. They seek a Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, proven Odoo experience, and solid knowledge of Angolan taxation.

Key responsibilities

• Record and organise the Group's general and analytical accounting.
• Prepare monthly and annual closings and support financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations, including VAT, IRT and Industrial Tax.
• Maintain accounting accuracy according to the Angolan General Accounting Plan (PGC).
• Operate and optimise Odoo Accounting and Finance modules.
• Support treasury management, accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Provide reliable financial and management information, and support reporting, analysis and management control.
• Contribute to the improvement and optimisation of accounting and financial processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and taxation.
• Familiarity with Angolan PGC is an advantage.
• Analytical, organised, accurate, autonomous and accountable.
• Ability to work in a demanding, multicultural environment.
• English proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proven experience with Odoo Accounting/Finance modules.
