Sales Representative – Medical Devices

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive growth of our Closure technology and Biosurgery product portfolio across hospitals and healthcare facilities. The role focuses on acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts while leading a team of sales representatives in the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Closure technology and Biosurgery products to surgeons, nurses, theatre staff and procurement teams.
• Conduct product presentations, clinical demonstrations and in‑service training for healthcare professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand market penetration and achieve sales targets.
• Support product evaluations and clinical trials in collaboration with clinicians.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide feedback to management.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports and territory business plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate in conferences, workshops and professional events to promote products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, nursing, biomedical sciences, clinical medicine or a related field, or a Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales.
• Experience working in an operating theatre environment and with surgical sutures, wound closure or biosurgery products.
• Proven ability to build relationships with surgeons, theatre nurses and hospital procurement teams.
