Quality Engineer – Product Quality Assurance

About the role

The Quality Engineer – Product Quality Assurance will support the site Quality Management System, ensuring reliable, high‑quality finished goods for oilfield equipment production. You will drive inspection activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and risk management across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Actively participate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs and maintain a safe, clean work environment following 6S standards.
• Review ORA/HRA/MOC/Work Permits before work starts and exercise Stop Work authority when needed.
• Facilitate root cause analysis of non‑conformities, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to minimise variation and improve repeatability.
• Work with the Quality Manager to keep site‑specific QMS documents aligned with global standards and organise site Management Reviews.
• Track and trend QMS data, driving improvement projects to meet key quality performance indicators.
• Set up and maintain inspection and testing plans, QIRs and skip‑lot procedures in SAP.
• Provide input on inspection methods, equipment and frequency for supply‑chain readiness.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Required profile

• Experience in quality engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE practices, 6S methodology and quality management systems.
• Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent data‑analysis skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Effective communication and teamwork across multiple departments.
