Programme Development Coordinator

About the role

The Programme Development Coordinator supports World Vision’s resource mobilisation efforts, working closely with the Programme Development and Partnerships Lead to identify funding opportunities, develop proposals and manage donor relationships across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Update and analyse the donor landscape and opportunity pipeline, highlighting emerging trends for senior leadership.
• Assist in implementing the Resource Mobilisation Plan, tracking actions and monitoring progress against targets.
• Develop concept notes, lead small‑scale proposal development and support larger strategic proposals.
• Collaborate with Finance to produce quality budgets, including cost‑recovery mechanisms and donor negotiations.
• Coordinate World Vision International resource acquisition processes such as Go/No‑Go decisions, target setting, pipeline management and contract approvals.
• Explore local mobilisation opportunities, assessing viability and risk of individual giving and partnership initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive records of proposals, contracts and donor engagements, ensuring accessibility for internal stakeholders.
• Curate a repository of needs‑based concept notes aligned with strategic priorities.
• Track mobilisation targets, update platforms and report gaps, risks and issues to the PDPL.

Required profile

• Ability to work closely with the Programme Development and Partnerships Lead, National Director and senior leadership teams.
• Strong analytical skills for donor landscape monitoring and pipeline tracking.
• Experience in coordinating proposal development and budget preparation.
