NDT Technician with Rope Access L3

About the role

Oceaneering Group Enterprise is seeking an experienced NDT Technician with Rope Access Level 3 to join its team in Cabinda, Angola. The role focuses on safely performing rope‑access inspections and a variety of non‑destructive testing techniques on static equipment and associated piping, ensuring compliance with company and statutory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and coordinate all rope‑access activities on site.
• Execute approved NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle) on equipment and piping.
• Produce detailed inspection reports, including isometrics and sketches of inspected areas.
• Maintain rope‑access equipment in accordance with Oceaneering procedures.
• Complete mandatory training modules and keep all documentation up‑to‑date.
• Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks and periodic audits.
• Mentor and coach host‑country nationals and supervise trainee technicians.
• Engage with existing and potential clients to promote rope‑access services.

Required profile

• Angolan national residing in Angola.
• Proven experience in rope‑access operations and NDT inspections.
• Ability to work safely at height and follow strict safety protocols.
• Strong reporting skills with attention to detail.
