API Inspector – Angolan Nationals Only

About the role

The API Inspector will act as the competent person and focal point for inspection activities, coordinating and managing inspections in accordance with Oceaneering and client procedures. The role is open exclusively to Angolan nationals residing in Angola and is based in Cabinda.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections to verify equipment meets acceptance criteria of relevant codes, standards, and documents.
• Conduct scheduled inspections on equipment to maintain asset integrity and ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Compile, submit, and endorse inspection reports, including NDT and fabric maintenance reports, in a timely manner.
• Supervise Oceaneering personnel and third‑party contractors, assess defects, provide remedial recommendations, and re‑inspect repairs for acceptance.
• Update inspection data in internal or external databases and issue status reports as required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant and equipment inspection.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows‑based applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
