About the role
The NDT Technician will perform a range of non‑destructive testing techniques to monitor the condition of static equipment and associated piping, reporting findings in approved formats and ensuring compliance with Oceaneering procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Execute NDT techniques (RT, UT, MT, PT, ET, VT) on static equipment and piping.
- Produce detailed inspection reports with sketches or isometrics.
- Support the On‑site Inspection Supervisor in coordinating NDT programs.
- Maintain NDT equipment and ensure compliance with Oceaneering procedures.
- Complete mandatory training modules and follow health, safety, environmental and quality systems.
Required profile
- Level 2 certification in RT, UT, MT and PT (PCN/CSWIP/ASNT).
- Level 1/2 certification in ET and VT (PCN/CSWIP/ASNT).
- IRATA Level 1 or 2 rope‑access qualification.
- PMI certification.
- Considerable experience with NDT techniques in the oil‑and‑gas industry.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Windows‑based applications.
- Radiographic interpretation and UT TKY (plus).
