NDT Technician – Multi‑Disciplined (Angola Nationals)

About the role

The NDT Technician will execute multiple non‑destructive testing techniques to monitor the condition of static equipment and associated piping. Findings must be reported in approved formats, ensuring full compliance with Oceaneering procedures and health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform RT, UT, MT, PT, ET and VT inspections on static equipment and piping as directed.
• Carry out ad‑hoc NDT inspections and produce detailed reports with isometrics or sketches.
• Support the On‑site Inspection Supervisor in coordinating NDT programs.
• Maintain testing equipment and complete all mandatory training modules on time.
• Ensure all work follows Oceaneering HSE and quality systems.

Required profile

• Considerable experience with NDT techniques in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows‑based applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT RT level 2 – Radiographic Testing (conventional, digital, real‑time).
• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT UT level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing.
• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT MT level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing.
• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT PT level 2 – Dye/Liquid Penetrant Testing.
• Radiographic interpretation and UT TKY (plus).
• PMI certification.
• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT ET level 1/2 – Eddy Current Testing.
• PCN/CSWIP/ASNT VT level 1/2 – Visual Inspection.
• IRATA Level 1 or 2 – Rope Access.
