Head of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The client, a leading FMCG company in Angola, is seeking a Head of Sales & Marketing to drive revenue growth, expand market presence and strengthen the brand. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead both sales and marketing functions across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats and pricing trends.
• Lead expansion into new markets, channels and customer segments.
• Oversee national and regional sales teams, ensuring volume, value and profitability targets are met.
• Implement structured sales processes, KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate high‑value contracts and drive customer retention.
• Lead pricing strategy, discount structures and margin management in coordination with finance.
• Oversee brand positioning, product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain and Production to align demand planning with capacity.
• Partner with HR to build commercial capability and performance culture.

Required profile

• 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven track record of revenue growth, market expansion and key‑account management.
• Experience managing large sales teams and delivering profitability targets.
