Geologist – Early Careers Position

About the role

SLB is seeking an early‑career Geologist to join its Geoscience and Petrotechnical teams. You will apply earth‑science knowledge together with modern logging technologies to evaluate reservoir architecture and hydrocarbon potential for a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the geoscience team to assess exploration prospects.
• Prepare surface and subsurface maps that illustrate stratigraphic relationships.
• Generate structural models, including seismic interpretation, geological interpretation, rock‑property analysis, and time‑depth conversion.
• Perform facies modelling and contribute to the creation of structural frameworks.
• Engage with customers to propose innovative solutions to complex subsurface challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Geology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to varied working conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with geological and logging software tools (specific platforms not listed).
