Assembly Repair & Overhaul Technician – Drilling Services

About the role

You will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform visual inspection of electro‑mechanical assemblies as part of a wellbore intervention team for drilling services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
• Rework, repair and modify non‑conforming equipment.
• Analyze environmental test data and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Provide technical support and coaching to other technicians.
• Inspect and disposition parts and equipment while complying with HS&E policies.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or associate degree in electrical or mechanical field.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience with electro‑mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Proficiency in following formal maintenance procedures.

Required skills

• Advanced soldering and assembly of electro‑mechanical devices.
• Use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi‑pot testers and other basic instruments.
• Proficiency with measurement and gauging equipment.
• Knowledge of fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro‑mechanical devices.
• Experience with oscilloscopes.
