About the role
SITA is seeking an Account Manager to drive profitable growth across airlines, airports, ground handlers and government clients. The role is the primary owner of the customer relationship, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Own and manage multiple accounts across several countries, creating documented business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain and review Account Development Plans to identify and capture all growth potential.
- Engage stakeholders to design and implement tailored growth strategies.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a consultant to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with virtual teams in Business Development, Solution Design, Commercial Management, Bid Management and Pricing to deliver solutions.
- Generate and maintain a sales pipeline, working closely with Marketing to convert leads.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasts and timely delivery of customer requests.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing B2B accounts, preferably in the aviation or transportation sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and coordinate cross‑functional virtual teams.
