About the role
SBM Offshore is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the supply‑chain discipline for its offshore operations. The role ensures continuous, safe and efficient warehouse performance, supporting the delivery of materials to FPSO units and other offshore assets. You will be responsible for supervising staff, optimizing processes and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise receiving, storing and dispatching of goods while upholding safety standards.
- Audit inventory, maintain accurate records in the ERP system and report discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce warehouse practices and protocols to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials for offshore projects.
- Set team goals, train and manage warehouse personnel, and monitor performance.
- Implement process‑optimization initiatives and monitor warehousing performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory safety and environmental regulations, identifying and mitigating logistics risks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- Proven experience in warehouse and material management, preferably within the Oil & Gas, naval construction or metalworking sectors.
- Solid background using ERP systems for inventory control.
Required skills
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience with IFS.
