Trade Finance Manager (Part-time, Remote)

About the role

The Trade Finance Manager will work part‑time and remotely to oversee and optimise trade finance activities that support client transactions and project funding. You will structure and review trade finance instruments, primarily letters of credit, while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, review and manage trade finance instruments, especially letters of credit.
• Coordinate with banks, counterparties and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Analyse transaction risks, cash‑flow implications and credit exposure.
• Prepare documentation, track transaction status and maintain accurate records for regulatory and internal reporting.
• Collaborate with investment and risk teams to integrate trade finance strategies into broader financial solutions.
• Enhance operational processes using digital and AI‑driven tools.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in trade finance and practical experience with letters of credit.
• Robust financial knowledge and market understanding.
• Advanced analytical skills for evaluating transaction structures, risk, pricing and cash flow.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities with banks, clients and internal teams.
• Relevant experience in corporate banking, structured finance or trade finance operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; professional certifications in trade finance or treasury are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple transactions and use digital tools efficiently.
