TIG Welder – Full-time Position in Luanda

About the role

The institute is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to perform high-quality GTAW welding on a variety of metals within its training workshops. The position is full-time, on-site in Luanda and supports both production and practical training activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare materials, set up welding equipment and select appropriate parameters for each job.
• Execute TIG (GTAW) welds according to technical specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect completed welds visually and ensure compliance with required tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding machines and tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, welding procedures and collaborate with instructors and team members.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding on different metals and joint configurations.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, welding procedures and industry standards.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety, hygiene practices and safe handling of welding equipment.
• Experience working in industrial or technical workshops with modern welding machines and measurement instruments.
