Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist – Oilfield Services & Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist to drive quality initiatives for our oilfield services and equipment suppliers. You will implement quality plans, qualify new suppliers, and lead audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality assurance and development activities, including qualifications, action plans, and performance monitoring.
• Conduct supplier audits, develop improvement plans, and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Collaborate with functional managers to advise on projects, processes, and procedures.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and lead small improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers regarding design and coordination services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical diploma with at least 4 years of quality experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven analytical, problem‑identification and solution skills.
• Ability to influence and lead small teams and manage day‑to‑day operations.

Required skills

• Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with supplier qualification, audit processes, and scorecard management.
