Space Applications Expert, Satellite Navigation & Connectivity

About the role

NTU International seeks a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems, satellite connectivity, and the development and uptake of space‑based applications across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Support activities related to satellite navigation, GNSS and augmentation systems.
• Support satellite connectivity and promote the development and uptake of space‑based applications throughout Africa.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, aeronautics, geomatics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in satellite navigation, telecommunications, satellite connectivity or related applications.
• At least 4 years of experience with satellite‑navigation or connectivity applications, including GNSS, SBAS, aviation or maritime use cases, and satellite broadband.

Required skills

• Satellite navigation (GNSS) expertise.
• Knowledge of SBAS systems such as Galileo and EGNOS.
• Familiarity with IRIS² and related African navigation initiatives.
• Experience with satellite broadband connectivity solutions.
