Senior HR Business Partner (Expression of Interest)

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will lead the people agenda for Wood in Angola, partnering with managers to provide strategic HR advice and ensure the delivery of the business plan.

Key responsibilities

• Act as key support to business managers, ensuring delivery of HR objectives through effective relationships with Shared Services and Centres of Expertise.
• Lead and execute implementation of HR programmes across the employee life‑cycle, including talent management, workforce planning and change initiatives.
• Provide guidance and counsel on people management practices, supporting managers in performance management and leadership development.
• Drive people development and performance management to build and retain the skills needed for short‑ and medium‑term operational success.
• Oversee recruitment and selection for strategic roles, ensuring alignment with business needs and reward methodology.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, regulatory requirements and group standards across the area of responsibility.
• Deliver timely HR metrics reporting and robust analysis to support business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in HR or business management (preferred).
• Several years of experience as an HR generalist or business partner in a dynamic organisation.
• Proven experience managing change, employee relations and industrial relations issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
