Rotating Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Rotating Equipment Engineer will lead the supervision, maintenance and condition monitoring of all major rotating assets across AngOil Bumi offshore facilities, ensuring safe, cost‑effective operation and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Principal supervision of major rotating equipment overhauls and condition‑monitoring programmes.
• Provide total mechanical support for gas turbines, compressors, WI, SWL and FW pumps, as well as related static equipment.
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance while minimising environmental impact and adhering to legislation, class, flag and CAMS requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of certification surveys to retain class status.
• Identify risks associated with utilities and maintenance tasks and implement appropriate procedures.
• Select lubricants and lubes in line with OEM recommendations.

Required profile

• HND/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum five years’ experience on offshore oil‑and‑gas facilities, preferably FPSO, as a Rotating Equipment Specialist.
• Hands‑on experience with power generation systems, gas/steam turbines, turbo‑expanders, compressors, diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic drives and gear‑reduction units.
• Strong knowledge of API, ASME/PTC codes and industry standards for rotating machinery.
• Excellent written and oral communication to coordinate with process, operations and supplier teams.
