About the role
Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to join its Surface Data Logging (SDL) service line. Under direct supervision you will learn the fundamentals of SDL and assist in collecting and reporting on‑site geological and drilling data for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Collect drilled cuttings at specified depth intervals and transport them while maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and documentation of geological and drilling information.
- Support mud‑logging activities, including learning drilling theory and mud‑logging techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety and certification requirements for rig site access.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline or Geology.
- Technical aptitude, willingness to learn, and ability to pass company assessments.
- Strong communication, arithmetic, data‑entry and record‑keeping abilities.
- Readiness to work in an entry‑level, field‑based environment with little prior petroleum experience.
