Programme Associate – Health & Nutrition

About the role

The Programme Associate will support UNICEF Angola's Health & Nutrition section, providing specialised programme and administrative assistance for the development, implementation and monitoring of UNICEF programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project data, conduct analysis and prepare reports for programme monitoring.
• Track budgets, monitor grants and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate partnerships and support digital innovation to improve operational efficiency.
• Facilitate capacity‑building events, knowledge sharing and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; technical or university courses in a related field are an asset.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, financial or programme management within international NGOs.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; additional UN language knowledge is desirable.

Required skills

• Project Management and Risk Assessment.
• Data analysis, reporting and budget monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, Power BI, SharePoint and AI‑enabled data automation.
• Grant management, partnership management and due‑diligence processes.
