Outside Recovery Associate

About the role

The Outside Recovery Associate supports Rural King’s outdoor merchandising area by helping customers load their purchases, maintaining the store’s exterior appearance, and assisting with merchandising tasks. This position is essential for delivering a seamless, friendly shopping experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in loading their vehicles and collect signatures on load‑out tickets.
• Unload delivery trucks and stock outdoor merchandise.
• Price and zone outdoor products, ensuring accurate labeling.
• Maintain clean and organized parking, corral, and load lanes.
• Follow the Outdoor Merchandising Guide to keep the exterior presentation consistent.
• Use standard office equipment and retail tools such as the Telxon gun and forklift.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to work safely in a physical, outdoor environment.
• Reliability and punctuality for shift schedules.
• Basic math skills for pricing and ticketing.

Required skills

• Operation of a Telxon gun for price checks.
• Forklift operation for moving merchandise.
