Supply Chain Director

About the role

Newrest is seeking a senior Supply Chain Director to lead its end‑to‑end logistics, procurement and warehouse operations across multiple sites. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership and strict adherence to food‑safety, health‑safety and HACCP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement supply‑chain and procurement strategies aligned with corporate policies.
• Ensure production teams meet health, safety, food‑safety and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor daily KPIs, prepare accurate reports for Group management and drive corrective action plans.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and performance to secure quality, cost‑effectiveness and financial stability.
• Oversee budgeting, variance analysis and ERP usage across the supply‑chain function.
• Lead logistics, warehouse and offshore site operations, guaranteeing inventory control and safety equipment compliance.
• Resolve vendor grievances, analyse market trends and introduce innovative solutions per Group guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of supply‑chain experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Background in catering; experience in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP/CCP, QHSE standards and food‑safety regulations.
• Fluent English; Portuguese strongly recommended.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of relevant supply‑chain software.
