Operator Assistant I – Pipeline/Process

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an entry‑level Operator Assistant I to support its Pipeline and Process Services in Luanda, Angola. You will join a team that values safety, continuous learning, and operational excellence while gaining hands‑on experience with critical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply basic safety procedures and equipment repair techniques through internal training.
• Perform pre‑job and post‑job equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain support equipment such as pumps, discharge lines, and related tools.
• Assist Service Operators with equipment cleanup, repair, and job preparation.
• Support rig‑up and rig‑down operations at customer worksites when required.
• Complete mandatory training programs, assessments, and competency tests.
• Document activities using basic computer applications and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read technical documents.
• Effective written communication and basic computer literacy.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to environmental responsibility.
