NDT Technician – Rope Access L3 (Angolan Nationals Only)

About the role

The NDT Technician with Rope Access L3 will ensure safe and efficient rope‑access operations while performing a range of non‑destructive testing (NDT) techniques on static equipment and associated piping. The role reports findings in approved formats and supports ongoing inspection programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and coordinate all rope‑access activities on site.
• Execute listed NDT techniques on equipment and piping, including ad‑hoc inspections as required.
• Produce detailed inspection reports with isometrics or sketches.
• Maintain rope‑access equipment in compliance with Oceaneering procedures.
• Complete mandatory training modules and ensure all work follows Oceaneering HSE and quality systems.
• Submit timesheets, IRATA hours and monthly checklists to the Rope Access Manager.
• Attend client meetings, safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Mentor host‑country nationals and supervise trainee technicians.

Required profile

• Angolan national.
• Valid L3 Rope Access certification (IRATA or equivalent).
• Experience in performing multiple NDT techniques on industrial assets.
• Ability to produce accurate reports and sketches.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
