Medical Delegate - Infant Nutrition Products

About the role

Nestlé Angola is looking for a Medical Delegate for Cabinda Province. The role provides scientific information to healthcare professionals about Nestlé's infant nutrition products in the assigned territory and manages scientific communication with medical and paramedical contacts and institutions. It is a permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen relationships with medical and paramedical contacts and institutions through scientific communication.
• Ensure compliance with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, avoid direct contact with mothers and promote breastfeeding; keep knowledge of the Code, guidelines and Nestlé's policy up to date.
• Act as a trusted source of scientific information on infant nutrition products and build strategic relationships with key contacts and KOLs.
• Identify the needs of healthcare professionals in the territory and recommend scientific activities.
• Monitor performance problems in the territory, track progress and help implement the WHO Management System.
• Maintain an up-to-date master list, plan and run a regular call cycle and perform periodic business checks for code compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science with relevant knowledge or a similar function.
• At least 2 years of work experience, ideally in nutrition or science-related field operations.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reporting and record keeping.
