Material Requirements Planning Analyst

About the role

The Material Requirements Planning Analyst will ensure effective material planning, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and support continuous production through accurate and timely planning.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and analyze MRP results, generating and adjusting purchase and production orders.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory coverage, and safety stock to avoid stock‑outs or excess inventory.
• Validate and maintain planning parameters in the ERP system, such as lead times, minimum order quantities, and replenishment policies.
• Track supplier delivery schedules and identify potential material supply risks.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Warehouse and suppliers to ensure smooth material flow.
• Ensure consistency between physical and system stock, addressing discrepancies.
• Anticipate raw material shortages and support production adjustments to minimize disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRP Analyst or in a similar material planning role.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor multiple planning variables and identify supply risks.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills with cross‑functional teams.
