Maintenance Manager

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety, integrity, and performance of assets across its regional fleet. The role involves overseeing maintenance plans, monitoring KPIs, managing the CMMS, and guaranteeing compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safety barriers and address overdue Priority 1 work orders.
• Monitor asset integrity and process safety barriers to meet required standards.
• Ensure consistent implementation of maintenance plans and CMMS across the fleet.
• Set unit‑specific maintenance objectives and benchmark work order performance against the Global Enterprise Management System (GEMS).
• Assess monthly KPIs, implement corrective actions, and report progress to line management.
• Participate in monthly maintenance meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
• Provide technical guidance, review budgetary figures, and ensure the maintenance schedule is executed within budget.
• Support regulatory, class, and non‑conformity issues to maintain compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance management for offshore or industrial assets.
• Strong knowledge of safety barriers, asset integrity, and process safety.
• Ability to analyse KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.

Required skills

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) proficiency.
• Experience with Global Enterprise Management System (GEMS) or similar KPI platforms.
• Budget management and financial tracking.
• Regulatory and class compliance expertise.
