Logistics Manager – Warehousing & Distribution

About the role

Robert Bosch Angola is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the company’s logistics activities in Angola. The role focuses on warehousing, distribution, foreign trade, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage performance and quality of Bosch warehouse operations, local distribution, and import/customs processes.
• Monitor, support, and steer external logistics service providers for warehousing, transportation, and foreign trade.
• Produce KPI reports, conduct detective control, and audit customs brokers.
• Serve as logistics interface for two Bosch divisions and their Angolan customers.
• Implement SAP POE for warehousing and distribution.
• Lead projects to introduce new requirements and process improvements.
• Take responsibility for logistics costs, including business planning.
• Verify invoices for logistics services.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of distribution logistics, supply chain management, and foreign trade.
• Entrepreneurial and customer‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Practical experience in warehousing, transportation, and/or customs.

Required skills

• Strong IT skills, especially SAP.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
