Junior Marine Operations Assistant

About the role

The Junior Marine Operations Assistant supports daily port and maritime activities in Cabinda, helping to coordinate offshore support vessels and commercial ships while ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the daily coordination of offshore support and commercial vessels.
• Monitor and enforce maritime safety standards and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local port regulations and documentation requirements.
• Support the Marine Operations Manager in scheduling and reporting activities.
• Maintain records of vessel movements and operational logs.

Required profile

• Minimum of 36 months of experience in maritime or oil & gas operations.
• Strong knowledge of port procedures and vessel coordination.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cabinda and communicate effectively in English.
• Motivation to start a career in the maritime sector.
