IT Data Manager – Lead Data Strategy

About the role

Webcor Group is seeking an IT Data Manager to define and execute the Group’s data strategy. This senior position will lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise data platforms, analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives, enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design, build, and govern enterprise data platforms, including data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses.
• Establish data governance, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
• Lead BI ecosystem development, with a focus on Power BI.
• Oversee AI/ML lifecycle and operationalization of advanced analytics.
• Integrate data solutions with ERP, CRM, HCM, OT and other enterprise systems.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, retention, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, architecture or analytics.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing data teams.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

• Data warehouse modelling (Kimball, Data Vault).
• Microsoft Azure data certifications (DP‑203, Fabric, Databricks) preferred.
