Cloud, Virtualization and Business Continuity Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud, Virtualization and Business Continuity Specialist for an international project in Luanda, Angola. The assignment lasts up to twelve months and focuses on designing, testing and validating hyper‑converged and virtualised environments with robust disaster‑recovery capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage hyper‑converged and virtualization platforms, cross‑site replication and cyber‑recovery vault solutions.
• Conduct failover testing, verify recovery processes and ensure compliance with Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in virtualization and private‑cloud environments, including an active disaster‑recovery site.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hyper‑converged infrastructure, virtualization and private‑cloud technologies.
• Cross‑site replication and cyber‑recovery vault implementation.
• Failover testing, recovery verification, RPO and RTO management.
• VCP/VCAP certification (preferred).
• Dell VxRail and PowerFlex expertise (preferred).
