In-Service Inspector

About the role

The Asset Integrity Analyst is responsible for implementing the Asset Integrity Management program and acts as the Technical Authority for pressurized equipment. The role supports Operations in developing corrective actions to manage health, safety, environmental risk and production loss.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review impact, major capital project and maintenance turnaround work scopes, ensuring scope freeze milestones are met.
• Lead and mentor inspectors and NDE technicians, set work priorities, and manage worst‑actor equipment.
• Implement special inspection programs (CUI, Greylock, IR surveys) and oversee NCR and TLR processes.
• Perform technical reviews, fitness‑for‑service evaluations, and incident investigations.
• Maintain inspection, testing and planned maintenance plans and support Angolanization through training national workforce.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.
• 10‑15 years of experience in in‑service inspection of plant and equipment.
• Inspector certifications (API, CSWIP, ASME) and offshore medical, BOSIET & MIST certifications.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• API, CSWIP, ASME inspection certifications.
• NDT techniques and ASNT TC‑1A training (MT/PT/UT/RT).
• Experience with electronic Inspection Data Management Systems such as Visions and Meridium.
• Risk‑Based Inspection and Fitness‑for‑Service software (Visions, API).
• Proficiency with QA/QC systems, Microsoft Office, and CMMS (Maximo, Enterprise‑1).
