Impact and Evidence Coordinator

About the role

The Impact and Evidence Coordinator will lead monitoring, evaluation and data management activities for World Vision Angola, ensuring that programme data drives learning, compliance and impact reporting. This position supports project start‑up, donor engagement and partnership performance across multiple country programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative data management systems; oversee baseline studies, assessments and evaluations.
• Serve as the focal point for M&E and programme quality, ensuring compliance with donor, World Vision and national requirements.
• Establish knowledge‑management repositories, maintain project records and promote learning from evaluation findings.
• Support resource mobilisation by preparing proposals, M&E frameworks and evidence‑based “power claims” for donors.
• Provide technical M&E support to partners, map partnerships and present impact evidence to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the effectiveness of faith‑based development approaches and strengthen church partners’ reporting capacity.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Fluent Portuguese (essential) and good command of English (advantage).
• Experience in data analysis, donor reporting and programme quality assurance within the humanitarian or development sector.
