IT Systems Administrator – Country Level

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to own the day‑to‑day administration, maintenance and support of our company’s IT infrastructure at the country level. The role is hands‑on and covers systems administration, Microsoft 365, cloud and endpoint management, virtualization, networking, security and technical support. You will work independently while collaborating closely with Group IT to implement global standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
• Manage VMware vSphere / ESXi environments, perform upgrades, patching and monitoring.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and manage Entra ID and Intune device lifecycle.
• Maintain network infrastructure – firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi and VPNs – and implement local security controls.
• Handle backup, disaster recovery solutions and conduct regular recovery tests.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, troubleshoot complex server, network and endpoint issues, and document incidents.
• Participate in IT projects, migrations, infrastructure deployments and coordinate with Group IT and external vendors.

Required profile

• Angolan nationality with fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure or engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently, own local infrastructure and collaborate with global IT teams.
