HSAQ Engineer – Offshore Oil & Gas (Luanda, Angola)

About the role

The HSAQ Engineer will support brownfield offshore oil and gas projects across multiple assets in Angola. You will provide HSAQ expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and construction to commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HSE management support for EPC contractors, FPSO modifications and offshore installation campaigns.
• Conduct field safety inspections, worksite controls and contractor HSE oversight.
• Participate in audits, inspections, risk assessments and HSE surveillance activities.
• Support operational readiness activities such as mobilisations, offshore campaigns, shutdowns, commissioning and start‑up.
• Prepare and present HSE reports, technical documentation and continuous‑improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil & gas production projects, preferably brownfield offshore.
• Proven experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
