Freelance Compensation Benchmarking Consultant – Angola

About the role

People & Partners Group is seeking experienced freelance consultants to lead salary survey and compensation benchmarking projects for leading organisations operating in Angola. The engagement is project‑based and forms the first phase of a continent‑wide benchmarking exercise across multiple African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and validate compensation data for strategic roles in sales, marketing, supply chain, finance and operations.
• Analyse salary structures across job families and levels, ensuring alignment with market trends.
• Prepare detailed benchmarking reports and recommendations for client organisations.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Managing Director to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Support the expansion of the benchmarking programme to additional African countries as the project scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering salary surveys, job evaluations and compensation structuring across multiple industries in Africa.
• Familiarity with organisations that have revenues from $25 million to over $250 million and workforces exceeding 1,000 employees.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex compensation data.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on a remote basis.
