Floatel Coordinator

About the role

The Floatel Coordinator manages day‑to‑day operations and logistics for the accommodation vessel (ASV) that houses offshore personnel. Working closely with the Floatel Manager and Safety Officer, you ensure safe, compliant, and comfortable living conditions for all crew on board.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safety inductions for new arrivals, covering muster points, emergency response, and FPSO interaction.
• Coordinate accommodation and travel logistics for project personnel, aligning with operational needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Personnel On Board (POB) logistics, liaising with clients and on‑site operations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date POB plan and manage cabin allocations with the ASV Hotel Manager.
• Collaborate with the OPS Planner to keep offshore personnel rosters current and accessible.
• Oversee issuance of ASV swipe cards and track POB transfers to ensure safety and accountability.
• Prepare and distribute daily POB reports and other correspondence for the Floatel Manager.

Required profile

• Good secondary education in administration, HR, logistics or related fields.
• Valid offshore safety certification (e.g., BOSIET) is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore logistics experience, including POB planning on offshore installations or accommodation vessels.
• Strong understanding of offshore operations, safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Proven experience coordinating large‑scale accommodation facilities in multicultural, remote environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accommodation management software.
• Advanced use of office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
