Field Technical Analyst – Early Careers

About the role

As a Field Technical Analyst in SLB’s Early Careers program, you will deliver technical expertise to on‑site teams, turning theoretical knowledge into practical solutions that support well operations and data interpretation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑job support, including risk analysis for field colleagues.
• Assist in planning, preparing, executing and debriefing field jobs.
• Create formation evaluation logs and analyse cuttings to identify rock types and hydrocarbon presence.
• Monitor well parameters and maintain sensors to ensure accurate well condition data.
• Prepare wellsite reports and document findings.
• Understand rig components and the role of various SLB product lines.
• Continuously identify and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or a related applied science.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong logical thinking with attention to detail.
• Motivation to develop skills and improve performance.
