Customer Excellence Specialist – Project Logistics

About the role

As a Customer Excellence Specialist within Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, you will coordinate project logistics and freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely, compliant and customer‑focused delivery of goods ranging from medicines to industrial parts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor project logistics shipments to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures, HSSE, and company policies in daily operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and reliable service.
• Manage financial and administrative tasks such as purchase orders, invoices, accruals and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate billing and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project logistics, freight forwarding or multimodal transport.
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector; experience in FMCG or beverage logistics is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Required skills

• Dangerous Goods (DG) certification (advantageous).
